Apple TV+ has positioned itself as the prestige alternative to Netflix and HBO. With massive budgets, A-list talent, and Oscar ambitions, the platform has produced some of the most talked-about titles of recent years. But how does Apple's library stack up on the values meter?
VirtueVigil ran every Apple TV+ title in our database through the full VVWS scoring system. The results tell an interesting story: Apple is not the most woke platform in the streaming wars, but it is not clean either. You will find genuinely great traditional content here alongside films that use wartime nostalgia as a delivery vehicle for progressive ideology. Here is every Apple TV+ title we have reviewed, ranked from most traditional to most woke.

F1 (2025)
TRADITIONAL +17 TRADThe highest-scoring traditional title on Apple TV+ and one of the cleanest blockbusters of 2025. F1 is a pure comeback story: a broken man finds redemption through grit, self-sacrifice, and refusal to quit. Brad Pitt's character prays before every race and earns respect the old-fashioned way. Nobody lectures you. Nobody deconstructs masculinity. Apple and Warner Bros. co-produced exactly the kind of film Hollywood stopped making. WokeScore: 5.52. TradScore: 22.68. Margin: +17 TRAD.

Pluribus (2025)
TRADITIONAL +12 TRADVince Gilligan's post-Breaking Bad series is the rarest thing in modern prestige TV: a show that genuinely refuses to tell you what to think. Pluribus earns its traditional score not by preaching conservative values but by trusting the audience with moral complexity and individual agency. Rhea Seehorn won a Golden Globe for her performance. The traditional score here reflects restraint, not agenda. WokeScore: 15.6. TradScore: 27.51. Margin: +12 TRAD.

The Gorge (2025)
TRADITIONAL LEAN +8 TRADA high-concept action film about two elite soldiers guarding opposite sides of a classified gorge. The Gorge earns its traditional lean through duty, sacrifice, and earned romantic chemistry between its leads. The military framing is respectful throughout and the film never weaponizes its premise for social commentary. A solid pick for conservative viewers who like genre entertainment that does not lecture. WokeScore: 4.2. TradScore: 12.25. Margin: +8 TRAD.

Eternity (2025)
TRADITIONAL LEAN +2 TRADA24 and Apple co-produced this afterlife romantic comedy starring Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner. Eternity is surprisingly clean for an A24 joint: no significant sexual content, no violence, no agenda-driven messaging. The traditional lean comes from its premise treating love and sacrifice as meaningful across eternity. Light fare, but values-safe fare. WokeScore: 3. TradScore: 5. Margin: +2 TRAD.

Argylle (2024)
TRADITIONAL LEAN +2 TRADMatthew Vaughn's spy comedy is loud, exhausting, and overcrowded, but its values profile comes out slightly traditional. Argylle features a female protagonist who grows into competence rather than being handed it, and the film's conventional romantic resolution lands on traditional ground. The progressive elements are surface-level and easily tuned out. Traditional lean by default rather than by design. WokeScore: 11.2. TradScore: 13. Margin: +2 TRAD.

Napoleon (2023)
TRADITIONAL LEAN +1 TRADRidley Scott's historical epic is a film at war with itself. The battle sequences honor military courage and tactical genius in ways that feel genuinely classical. But Scott's portrait of Napoleon the man is deliberately small, undermining heroism at every turn. The film scores traditional by the narrowest possible margin. Conservatives who came for an epic will leave with mixed feelings. WokeScore: 10.18. TradScore: 11.28. Margin: +1 TRAD.

Severance - Season 2 (2026)
WOKE LEAN -2 WOKEApple TV+'s flagship prestige series tips slightly woke in its second season, but the score reflects the show's genuine craft more than ideological alarm. The anti-corporate themes are structurally embedded in the world-building rather than grafted on, and the series respects its audience enough to present themes rather than sermons. Woke lean, but earned through storytelling rather than lecturing. WokeScore: 6. TradScore: 4. Margin: -2 WOKE.

Blitz (2024)
WOKE LEAN -4 WOKESteve McQueen's WWII film arrives dressed as a wartime survival story and pivots into racial grievance framing once the audience is invested. Blitz uses the London Blitz as a backdrop but spends significant runtime on identity-based moral authority and systemic framing. Saoirse Ronan delivers a committed performance that deserved a better film. A woke trap in structure if not in official classification. WokeScore: 11. TradScore: 7. Margin: -4 WOKE.

Killers of the Flower Moon (2023)
WOKE LEAN -4 WOKEScorsese's three-and-a-half-hour historical epic about the Osage murders is a genuine cinematic achievement that tips woke through its framing choices. The film scores progressive not by inventing grievances but by structuring its moral universe around collective guilt and systemic culpability at the expense of individual moral accounting. The traditionalist case study buried inside this film never gets to breathe. WokeScore: 19. TradScore: 15. Margin: -4 WOKE.

The Apple TV+ Verdict
Apple TV+ is not the most woke platform in streaming, but it is not a safe harbor either. The library splits roughly into thirds: genuinely traditional content like F1 and Pluribus, competent middle-ground entertainment like The Gorge and Argylle, and progressive-leaning titles like Blitz that use prestige aesthetics to smuggle in ideology.
The good news is that Apple's best titles are genuinely good. F1 and Pluribus belong on any conservative streaming list. The Gorge is solid genre entertainment with a clean values profile. The warning flags are specific: if a title has Steve McQueen's name on it, read the full review before you sit down. If it involves Scorsese and historical American injustice, expect the framing to tip progressive even when the filmmaking is exceptional.
